Benedikt Frey, Edward – Detours

Benedikt Frey returns to the controls.
Second transmission.

4 smoke signals, with Edward on the reroute.

Benedikt Frey returns to Club Blanco for CBR005, following Aid Kit with another four-part transmission from the German producer. Detours pushes further into the stranger corners of the dance floor.

Frey’s instinct for tension remains firmly intact: warped electronics and crooked rhythmic details move around deep, propulsive foundations. Each track unfolds at its own pace, balancing restraint and pressure with that unmistakable late-night pull.

Edward steps in on the remix, landing perfectly in that hypnotic sweet spot – twisting things into a deep, rolling rework that stretches further into the night.

A second outing from Benedikt Frey, continuing the thread while pulling the Club Blanco circuitry somewhere new.
